Our Recurring Annual Events
Kent Schools Foundation hosts several signature events throughout the year that bring our community together in support of Kent School District students. These events raise critical funds for classroom grants, scholarships, and programs that go directly to students and teachers.
Annual Gala & Fundraiser
Our premier evening event celebrates the community’s investment in Kent’s students. An evening of inspiration, connection, and impact featuring student stories, silent auctions, and sponsor recognition. Held each spring.
Classroom Grant Application Deadlines
Teachers across the Kent School District submit grant applications for innovative classroom projects. We review applications in the Spring and Fall cycles. Visit our Grants & Funding page for current deadlines and application details.
Scholarship Awards Night
We celebrate our scholarship recipients at the Kent International Festival each year, recognizing outstanding Kent School District students who are pursuing higher education. Learn more about our grant and scholarship recipients.
New Educator Welcome Event
Each August, KSF welcomes new teachers to the Kent School District with resources and community support. This program is made possible through our corporate partnerships with organizations like Comcast and Boeing.

Kent International & KCF Scholarship Event
Join Kent Schools Foundation and Kent Community Foundation for our annual scholarship event celebrating Kent International Festival and student scholarship recipients. RSVP required.
Spring Classroom Grant Application Deadline
Last day to submit your Classroom Innovation Grant application for the Spring 2026 cycle. Applications submitted after this date will be reviewed in the Fall cycle.
